Back to the Middle East, this time in Dubai, which is in the United
Arab Emirates.
This was not my first time visiting this place, nor do I think
there will ever be a last time. The fusion of western and Middle Eastern
culture reflects my upbringing and childhood—being born and raised in Toronto,
with a Middle Eastern parent, Dubai is really where you can experience the best
of both worlds.
The perks of Dubai (or the Middle East in general), is that I can eat everywhere—and anything.
With everything halal, there's no need to opt for vegetarian or seafood
options at restaurants.

This time I was in Dubai with four friends and were determined to make some long-lasting memories.

We essentially joined a bunch of tours, who would pick us up at our hotel and take us out to do activities and sightseeing, and then drop us back. We visited many mosques including the very famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Memorizing architectures unlike any mosque in Toronto.

The Burj Khalifa tour took us to see a spectacular sight: the Burj Khalifa. You'll reach the clouds when you're on top of the Burj Khalifa.

My favourite part was definitely camping overnight in the desert, under the clear, starry sky.

I would recommend Dubai to everyone. The people there are very hospitable and kind and is truly worth a visit.
